Print QR labels for any Area, Location, Box, or Item, then scan them with your phone to navigate instantly.

Printing a Single QR Label

Every Area, Location, Box, and Item has a unique QR code. To print it:

  1. Open the detail page or list page for the item you want.
  2. Click the Print QR button (or the QR icon in the list row).
  3. Your browser's print dialog opens with a pre-formatted label — print and stick it on the physical object.

Printing Multiple Labels (Print Labels Page)

The Print Labels page (accessible from the Dashboard) lets you print many labels at once:

  1. Choose which entity types to include (Areas, Locations, Boxes, Items).
  2. Use the search and tag filters to narrow the selection.
  3. Tick individual items or use Select All.
  4. Choose a layout: Full Page (one label per page) or Avery 5160 (30 labels per sheet).
  5. Set the starting label number if you are continuing from a previous print run.
  6. Click Print.

Scanning a QR Code (Mobile)

On any mobile device, tap the Scan QR button in the top navigation bar or in the sidebar menu. The scanner will open your camera. Point it at any PackTrack QR code to jump straight to that item's page.

The scanner also works inside Move modals — tap "Scan Container" to scan a destination Box or Location when moving items.

How QR Codes Work

Each QR code encodes a short URL that includes the item's type (A, L, B, or I) and its unique number. The URL resolves to the correct page even if the item is renamed. QR codes are tied to your Site, so scanning a code from a different Site will not resolve.
